All-source intelligence
All-source intelligence is an intelligence methodology that integrates and analyzes information from multiple collection disciplines—including human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), open-source intelligence (OSINT), imagery intelligence (IMINT), and measurement and signature intelligence (MASINT)—to produce a comprehensive and validated understanding of threats. By fusing these diverse data streams, analysts can overcome the limitations inherent in any single source, cross-validate findings, identify patterns, and uncover insights that would otherwise remain hidden.
In cybersecurity, all-source intelligence is fundamental to effective threat intelligence and risk management. It enables organizations to gain deep situational awareness of the evolving threat landscape, including adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), their motivations, and capabilities. This holistic perspective supports more accurate risk assessments, better vulnerability prioritization, and the development of proactive mitigation strategies, ultimately delivering timely, actionable intelligence that strengthens both strategic planning and tactical defense against sophisticated cyber threats.
