Google releases Find Hub app for Wear OS - 9to5Google
Google has released the Find Hub app for Wear OS—first teased in a Pixel Watch 3 promo—bringing simple, on-wrist device finding to your Google Account-connected gear.
What you can do on your watch:
- Browse a "My devices" list for phones, tablets, watches, headphones, trackers, and more tied to your Google Account
- See when a device was last seen and its current battery level
- View a map; tap to open Google Maps on your watch for walking, driving, or other directions
- Trigger actions: Play sound, Secure device, Get directions, or Factory reset (plus a refresh button)
Interface and behavior:
- The in-app flow mirrors the phone experience for familiarity
- The "Phone ringing" screen uses Material 3 Expressive styling
- Pixel Watch 4’s UWB is not used for precise finding at this time
- Settings and an account switcher appear at the end of the device list
- Find Hub shows ahead of the existing "Find my phone" shortcut in the app list; the shortcut remains available
How to install:
- On your watch, open the Play Store and search for "Find Hub"
- Or start the download from your phone with "Install on more devices"
- Google is also rolling out a small update to the Find Hub phone app
Overall, Find Hub for Wear OS is a straightforward, focused client that makes locating and managing your devices quick and convenient from your wrist.
