LG will let TV owners delete Microsoft Copilot after customer outcry
LG Electronics Inc. will allow owners of its televisions to remove Microsoft’s Copilot AI assistant following a wave of customer complaints.
In recent days, LG TV users reported on Reddit that Copilot began appearing on their screens without an obvious way to hide or uninstall it. The backlash prompted LG to confirm that customers will be able to delete the software, restoring control over what appears on their TVs.
